INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM "THE OTHER MOTHER"
The ongoing capital-driven trade rivalries among nations have pushed our world into a fragile and unstable state. Ensuring peaceful coexistence has become imperative to prevent the risk of escalating into a life-extinction event. In response to this pressing concern, the Maharishi Vashistha Institute of Gaushala Management & Research Council is producing an international feature film on a global scale "The Other Mother."
-The film is a fictional drama based on the book "The Other Mother" authored by Sanjay Vashistha and is being directed by Onemo. It draws inspiration from the extraordinary life of Fredrike Irina Bruning (Sudevi Mata Ji) - a German-born humanitarian who has dedicated her entire life to the care and protection of cows in India. Honored with the Padma Shri in 2019 by the then President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, she stands as a beacon of hope and an icon of selfless service in these turbulent times.
Currently, nurturing over 3,000 cows, many of whom are blind or severely injured, at her sanctuary in Mathura Vrindavan, Sudevi Mata Ji exemplifies compassion, resilience, and commitment to ecological balance. Her mission extends far beyond animal care, she embodies a vision of eco-friendly, sustainable living and continues to inspire millions across the globe.
Being a commercial viable with full social drama this feature film seeks to honor and celebrate such eco-warriors on an international platform. At a time when biodiversity is declining at an alarming rate, "The Other Mother" raises urgent questions about animal cruelty, consumerist lifestyles, and humanity's responsibility towards nature.
Deeply rooted in Indian culture and values, this cinematic saga will highlight the profound interconnectedness of humans, animals, plants and all living beings. It aims to rekindle sensitivity towards nature, evoke a spirit of coexistence and inspire collective action to safeguard our planet's biodiversity for generations to come.
