A council with a difference…
Propagating the legacy of one of the most revered ‘Saptrishi’ and Rajguru of the lord Ram, Maharishi Vashishtha Institute of Gaushala Management and Research Council (MVGMRC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to selfless services across spiritual, social, cultural, environmental, animal welfare and humanitarian domains with meaningful interface of ‘Sanatan Sanskriti.’ India’s world acclaimed ‘Sanatan Sanskriti’ symbolizes several divine entities for global natural harmony, peace and prosperity. These include Ganesh, Guru, Gayatri, Gita, Gau (sacred Kamdhenu), Ganga, Tulsi, etc. These elements are always found vital source for positivity, strength, resilience, beauty, purity, fertility, prosperity, eternity and balance in life. Since the time immemorial, the compassionate ‘Mother Cow’ has been engaged in overall empowerment of human beings and the sustenance of entire ecosystem on the Earth.
Apart from physical, mental and spiritual development of human beings, there is an outstanding contribution of the cows and other animals. Our incarnate men, saints and sages, agri-scientists and veterinary experts established the cow as an ideal “Mother” for the overall welfare of human beings. Its nectar milk is a complete nutrition for all even for poor farmers as well as for the brave soldiers and policemen who are always ready to sacrifice their lives for a ‘Secured Bharat’ internally and externally. Almost all religions in the world advocate that the “cows” should be considered as celestial gifts to the human beings and their protection must be the first priority of the people. It is rightly said Save the Indian bovine to Save the Planet and Humanity.
REVIVAL FOR SURVIVAL
A Unique Initiative for Village Empowerment & Environmental Protection
Emerging India is set to become world’s most populated country by 2030 with more than 1.53 billion people and there will be a huge challenge ahead for its agricultural sector to feed these extra mouths. The task becomes more challenging due to an impact of climate change and man-made calamities such as tightening natural resources constraints (water & soil footprints) and reducing cultivable land in wake of magnums unplanned urbanization. Besides, there is the biggest felon of soil degeneration due to indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

The extensive use of chemical fertilizers had led to the depletion of the soil carbon humus, the organic matter in the soil. There is a vital question of rural mal-nutrition, poverty and hunger in cities. Uncontrolled migration of rural youth to towns and cities leads to extra-burden on these destinations and infrastructure. Besides, rural youth do not get proper jobs due to their knowledge deficit in english and computer education. They need an appropriate skill and employment in their own rural environment.
Providing education, skill development and jobs and business activity to the rural youth is meaningful if they are connected with Gramo-udyog and Gaushala. The father of nation, Mahatma Gandhi, also advocated Gramo-udyog and Gaushala for socio-economic empowerment of rural people. Even today, the cows have the ultimate key to provide solution to agri-community and can successfully contribute in their overall empowerment. There is an urgent need to focus and propagate Gau Sanskriti again to reunite the ecosystem for healing the world. As envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, “We consider ‘Cow’, a divine mother since the time immemorial. Gramo-udyog equipped with Gaushala can play a pivotal role in doubling income of India’s farmers”.
It is a unique institution to establish ‘Gau Grid’ as well as raise the standard of Gaushalas, dairy industry for a sustainable growth and policy implements
